It was Halloween Day at the Black Hole, but then again, like Ministry says,
"Every Day is Halloween" there.

The Raiders and Seahawks are both winning more games than anyone
guessed before the season, yet continue to play erratically. Pete Carroll has
done a lot in his first season with some sub-par talent.

On the field, Jason Campbell got the start again in place of the injured
Bruce Gradkowski.

The Raiders defense hassled Matt Hasselbeck all game, sacking him
eight times and leaving him with a concussion.

Even when Hasslebeck managed to get a pass off, his receivers couldn't
hold on. Golden Tate dropped this pass after Hasslebeck dropped it just
behind Raiders cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha.

The resulting deflection fell into the hands of Raiders safety Tyvon Branch,
here celebrating on the sidline after returning it 15 yards and setting up
another Raiders touchdown.

Darren McFadden went for 21 carries and 111 yards, but did take some hard
hits and gang tackles along the way.

The Raiders returned the favor, keeping Marshawn Lynch and the other
Seahawks backs to 47 yards rushing.

Raiders wide receiver Nick Miller can't hold onto the ball under pressure
from Seattle Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant. I had a nice five-frame
sequence of this play, but I was all the way on the opposite sideline, and
there's not much depth-of-field control from that far away. So the pictures
suffer badly from busy backgrounds.
